New Century Air Center
Johnson County, KS 66030
This combat pilot training center dates back to WWII to the Vietnam War era, and now operates as a commercial airport, industrial complex and business center. Around 1960, a pilot died in an airplane crash, which is believed to be the source of the hauntings that happen in the Army Reserve Chinook helicopter unit. Reports here include unexplained voices, whistles, apparitions, and footsteps, as well as locks that won't stay locked, and doors that open and close on their own. The location has also been featured on TV's Haunted America.
