It was a normal night around 1am, when we got there the wind was blowing, but as soon as we passed through the gates and entered the cemetery the wind just stopped. It was an instant creepy feeling. But as we walked through it got a little calmer as we weren’t hearing anything by ear or seeing anything out of the norm. We whipped out the voice recorder to see if we could capture any “evp” after doing a 34 minute session and after we asked all the questions, we only got a couple odd things. We got a growl and a voice saying something about “Ghost” which was clear as day. We took tons of pictures but weren’t really getting anything until we were leaving. This is when shit got weird, we were doing our last lap around back to the entrance to leave and that’s when the air around us got really cold and it had been warm all night. Right at the entrance gate we turned around and took 3 or 4 more pics and bam, we captured a full bodied apparition, you could see right trough it, he was up against a tree with its mouth wide open clear as day. I wish I could post the pic. Once we finished taking pics we crossed the gate leaving the cemetery and the wind started blowing again like it had never stopped. When we got back home we looked more closely at the other photos and there was a second apperition in the distance peering over the top of a tomb stone staring at us. This was my second time to round mound and believe it or not, we had more activity my first time there almost 8 years ago. This place dose not disappoint, it you are going out there to actually try to find something, YOU WILL FIND IT……

My cousin and I went up to round mound to investigate at night, as we walked through the cattle fence gate that is there a car stopped on the road we turned from. Keep in mind there was no cars following us up to this point and we killed our lights going up. Also, as far as i know there are no houses within eye's sight to see us go up. As we looked at the car i could feel their eyes on us, they honked three times in unison then took off down the road. Just a minute later a truck without any lights on appeared on that same road and we took off. As we sped down the narrow road to get out we turned onto the main road and flipped our lights on, there was no truck or car in sight. Just as we went down the road not a half mile, the cops appeared and went toward the cemetery, we stopped and watched as they stopped on the road below it and left as if they too were afraid to go up the one-way road to a place said to be haunted by a witch. I am not sure what happened that night at Round Mound, but i can say it was a very creepy and weird experience even though we never even got into the cemetery itself. Remember to stay save out there!!

Nothing here to grab you - maybe!!
Been to this cemetery many times and never had any type of experience. Have done some investigating with divining rods and have had some "hits" throughout cemetery. The barren SE corner seems to be the spot where I have the most hits, though have gotten hits throughout cemetery. Could the SE corner be where the WITCH is buried??? Can never find a story as to why there is a witch in this cemetery. Wind is always blowing whenever I visit. Also, for you geocachers, I have a geocache hidden nearby.
