Also known as the People's House, this state capitol building dates back to the early 1900s and is believed to be haunted by a worker who died here on the job. Stories say that since town records show a man was never paid his last check, and had no surviving family members, he still works his job as a spirit - and has been heard hammering at night. Another ghost said to haunt the building is that of a woman who jumped from the staircase, killing herself. Her ghostly footsteps and crying have been heard where her body was found.

Hide your cash and valuables

Enough goes on here to frighten the beejesus out of the entire Kansas populace. Zombies roam and meet in these corridors, totally oblivious to all that surrounds them. Extremely creepy.

dont go in the stone hallway

I went on a school fieldtrip there. the weirdest thing I felt there was he old stone hallway. they told us not to go down there but me and a few other friends got curious. there was a cold chill in the hallway and something touched my friend so we took off and went back to the group.
